We invite you to join us in our 2024-2025 Pledge Campaign:
Rebuild, Restore, Renew.
First Parish Church has been able to help hundreds of people through our Farmers Market, Chalice Thrift, and the Matthew Mission Food Pantry in the last year. We were able to provide people with food, clothing, life’s necessities.
We were able to offer opportunities for church folk to get together for Sunday services and adult small groups, RE and OWL for kids, and outdoor events for everyone. And all of this was done with no minister, as we worked to improve finances with a year of lay-led services.
This year we plan to contract for a half-time minister, Rev. Rob Kinslow, whom many of us know from his time here as an intern. Part magician, part musician and 100% UU minister, Rob has offered to share his talents with us as we now seek to Rebuild, Restore, and Renew this church community.
We invite you to join us in our 2024-2025 Pledge Campaign. Help us provide the funding necessary to do all that we accomplished last year and more. Enable us to hire Rob as part-time minister to help us Rebuild, Restore, and Renew. Help us keep the light and life of this church going strong. We know how important it is for us and for the 100’s of people whose lives we touch.
The church operates on an annual budget of approximately $180,000 which comes entirely from the generosity of our members and partners. Without your contributions, the church simply would not continue to function.
So with that being said, we invite you all to please fill out the below pledge card by May 20, 2024. If you are able to increase your pledge from last year, we ask that you do so as generously as you can. Our goal is to raise $55,000 this year. This can be accomplished with an overall increase in pledges of 5%.
Thank you. And know that your pledge will ensure another year of multigenerational programming, ongoing work for social justice, and an exciting new year with a minister. .
