StewardshipThe term stewardship embodies all that we do here at First Parish to take care of our community and our church’s home. It is through responsible, thoughtful and caring stewardship that we ensure that our minister and staff receive their salaries, our volunteer projects have the resources they need to move forward, and our building quite literally keeps the roof over our heads. Stewardship makes sure that the bills will be paid - for heat and paper and craft supplies and coffee and snow removal and all that brings together our community.
Thank you for all that you give to First Parish. We would not be here without the generosity of all of our members.

GivingThe joy of giving is what brings many people to First Parish for the very first time. We are all capable of giving to our communities in so many ways – through volunteering, helping others, and by donating financially to our church.
Our congregation is a member-supported organization. That means that most of our funds come directly from your generosity. There are many ways to donate to First Parish. We encourage people to plan for their giving by making a weekly or monthly pledge, though we also appreciate one-time donations. When you fill out a pledge form, you are making a promise to the church that you will do all in your power to fulfill that pledge. Of course, if there is a significant change in your finances, we encourage you to talk to our minister and adjust your pledge accordingly. You may mail your pledge to the church, make a check or cash donation (be sure to use an envelope with your name on it so that we know who made the donation) in the offering plate or pay by credit card through the "Give Online" link. |
