Senior Youth Group: Our Sr. Youth Group Is offered various nights and weekends through the year for youth ages 14 -18
Purpose - The purpose of Sr. Youth Group is to help our older teens become part of our church community and eventually members of the church.
Goal - The goal of Sr. Youth Group is youth empowerment. Our older youth (14-18) have many opportunities to join in the community of First Parish Church. We encourage our youth to take ownership and leadership in church activities. Our youth meet to explore their beliefs and values, develop leadership skills, engage in social justice work, volunteer with community outreach programs and so much more- all while having fun and building relationships in a safe environment.
Rite of Passage - The Bridging Ceremony celebrates the transition of our youth from their high school experience into young adulthood.
One of the most important things we can do for our youth is to support them into adulthood, to keep them connected to Unitarian Universalism, and continue to minister to them as they become adults.
